Opportunities to volunteer are available on both the east and west sides of ISSC.
Descriptions of each job can be found below.

Field Marshal Check-In (3 hour blocks)

Operate out of the ISSC East Side Tournament Headquarters. Your role is to ensure that each game involving a BASC or Express team has a designated field marshal. Assist field marshals with the sign-in process, making sure they provide their contact information on the appropriate game sheet. Provide each marshal with a vest, a walkie-talkie, and a printed copy of the Field Marshal Duties. Let them know they will be responsible for overseeing two fields during their game. Be available to answer any questions they may have.

Ref Driver (3 hour blocks)

Transporting referees to and from games in a golf cart, must be 16 or older with a current driver’s license. Will drive refs on the East Side of ISSC. Coordinate with Ref Assignor to ensure referees are transported to the appropriate game.

Parking Shuttle (3 hour blocks)

Transporting tournament attendees in a golf cart to and from the ISSC parking areas, must be 16 or older with a current driver’s license. Will drive on the East Side of ISSC. Drive through the outlying parking areas to assist players and spectators. Pick up individuals and drop them off at the designated pickup/drop-off locations. For those with mobility issues, transport them as close to their assigned field as possible to ensure easy and safe access. You may also be tasked with transporting referees to their assigned games during peak game times.

Roaming Field Marshall (3 hour blocks)

Operate out of the East Side Tournament Headquarters. You will be walking or driving a golf cart to monitor all games on the East side of ISSC for any problems, security incidents, or medical problems. Use walkie to radio the Tournament HQ for any issues and report what is needed. You may also be tasked with transporting referees to their assigned games during peak game times. Sign in at Tournament HQ on the EAST side to receive a vest and walkie.

Awards (3-4 hour blocks)

Assist East Side Tournament Headquarters with sorting and handing out awards. Ensure awards are documented appropriately on game cards.

Traffic Control (3 hour blocks)

Report to East Side Tournament Headquarters. Assist BAPD with traffic control and flow at specified locations.
