BASC Non-Game Field Usage Policy

Use of fields at the Indian Springs Sports Complex for non-game activities as contracted through BASC is governed by the Standing Resolutions of BASC (Section X as attached).

The following summarizes the process and requirements of scheduling nongame field usage with BASC for training purposes:

Permitted uses include scrimmages and special training sessions.
All scrimmages are to include no more than two teams and are required to utilize a registered referee as specified below.
All special training sessions are to include no more than two teams and are required to utilize a licensed coach as specified below.
Requests for other use must be submitted to the BASC Executive Board in writing and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Field scheduling with the BASC Games Commissioner is made exclusively online via the ISSC Scrimmage and Special Training Scheduling page located under the Facilities tab on the BASC website.

Payment for field usage and administrative fees are made via the Scrimmage – Special Training Payment page located under the Facilities tab on the BASC website or in cash at the BASC office (checks are not accepted).
Field usage will not be scheduled until payment is received and confirmed to the Games Commissioner.
Field usage fee for a grass field  is $35, per use.
Field usage fee for a turf field  is $50, per use.

Following confirmation of payment and scheduling by the Games Commissioner a confirming email will be sent to the email address provided on the scheduling form.

Scrimmages may be scheduled and requested by BASC teams for play at ISSC so long as at least one team is an official BASC team and a uniformed/licensed referee officiates the game.  Scrimmages are afforded a 90 minute time block.

The BASC Referee Assignor can assist coaches in finding a referee but is not required to ensure a referee is located and/or scheduled. Referee Assigning Fee – If you would like a referee assigned to your scrimmage, the fee is $5.00 per referee assigned.  (Referee pay is separate than the assigning fee). Payment for the referee services are to be negotiated between the coach and referee and should be paid at the field. All scrimmages should be scheduled and paid for at least 120 hours or 5 days prior to the requested date.

Special training sessions may be requested to be scheduled at ISSC by BASC teams who wish to participate in a BASC Special Training Session. The training session shall be coordinated and directed by a licensed coach or trainer.

Special Training Sessions are part of BASC continuing soccer curriculum and the license coaches shall provide training on a soccer curriculum topic as recommended by the BASC Head Coach.  Training sessions are afforded a 90 minute time block. All special training sessions should be scheduled and paid for at least 120 hours or 5 days prior to the requested date.

Teams taking the field without an approved schedule, completed payment or without a licensed/uniformed referee or appropriate licensed/guest coach, or allowing non-game activity in the penalty/goal area will be sanctioned by BASC.

Sanctions may include $75 fine and suspension of the team(s) privileges to schedule field usage until the fine is paid.

In the event the scheduled training activity is cancelled; the event may be rescheduled or a refund of the field usage fee and/or administrative fee may be made at the discretion of the Club.

Requests for reschedule must be received by the Games Commissioner 24 hours prior to the scheduled activity time and shall include a detailed reason for the request.

Requests for refund must be received by the BASC office in writing via delivery or email within 24 hours of the scheduled activity time and shall include a detailed reason for the request.
