What is the cost to play for a BASC Express competitive team?

After joining the Frontier Conference League, BASC Express made it a priority to keep costs consistent.

The annual club fee remains $370, and this applies across all platforms, including:

  • ECNL RL
  • Pre – ECNL RL
  • Frontier NPL
  • OPL (Oklahoma Premier League)
  • OPC (US Club Soccer league)
How many games will ECNL RL teams play?

Based on previous seasons:

  • Girls teams: 10 home and 10 away games
  • Boys teams: 9 home and 9 away games

Most weekends include one game on Saturday and one on Sunday, with some weekends featuring a single game.

What leagues will BASC Express Classic and Elite teams play in?

BASC Express Classic teams may choose to compete in:

  • The NPL Frontier League (team-based league for Classic-level teams)
  • OPL (Oklahoma state league)
  • OPC (US Club Soccer league)
What additional team fees should families expect?

Each team sets its own budget to cover:

  • Tournament entry fees
  • Field rental for training at ISSC
  • Team training equipment
What is the Pre – ECNL RL Frontier League?

This league is designed for U11 and U12 boys and girls playing 9v9.

It follows similar guidelines to ECNL RL but includes:

  • Less travel
  • Fewer games (approximately 12–14 league matches)

The purpose is to introduce players and families to the ECNL RL platform.

What is the role of the Director of Coaching (DOC)?

The Director of Coaching provides:

  • Oversight and support for all age group coaches
  • Guidance on daily coaching responsibilities
  • Coaching clinics and educational seminars throughout the year
Are there different substitution rules in ECNL RL?

Proposed/typical rules include:

  • U13–U14: Unlimited substitutions, but only on 3 occasions per half
  • U15 and older: 7 substitutions per half; players may not re-enter in the same half
  • Pre – ECNL RL: Unlimited substitutions
How often do teams practice?

Teams typically begin training in August and follow a schedule of:

  • 2 sessions per week
  • 90 minutes per session
    (Applies to U11–U19 teams)
What is the BASC Academy Program?

The Academy Program serves younger players and feeds into the competitive pathway:

  • U8 boys and girls: 4v4 & 7v7 format
  • U9–U10 boys and girls: 7v7 format

This program helps prepare players for future participation in the BASC Express competitive teams.
